What this site does
CourseSignal is a static website that publishes guides, comparisons, and a paid digital product (the Email Deliverability Checklist). We do not run a user account system on this site. We do not operate a first-party analytics or advertising pixel on these pages as of the date above.
Information we may process
- Emails and support messages you send to [email protected] (content, email address, and any details you include).
- Checklist purchases — when you buy through Lemon Squeezy, Lemon processes your payment and contact details as Merchant of Record. We receive order and fulfilment information needed to support the sale (for example, your email and product purchased). We do not store card numbers.
- Server / CDN logs — Cloudflare (our hosting / CDN) may process IP address, user agent, and request metadata to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy documentation for details.
- Affiliate click tracking — if you click an affiliate link (for example HighLevel or GlockApps), the vendor’s tracking partner may set cookies or similar technologies on their domains after you leave our site. That processing is controlled by those vendors.
Legal bases (UK GDPR)
- Contract — delivering a checklist purchase you requested.
- Legitimate interests — operating and securing the site, answering support email, and improving our content where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation — keeping records we are required to keep (for example tax / accounting records related to sales).
- Consent — where a tool asks for it (for example optional communications). We do not currently run a marketing list from this site.
Lemon Squeezy (checklist sales)
Digital checklist checkouts are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Lemon handles payment, sales tax/VAT collection where applicable, and file delivery. Their processing is governed by Lemon Squeezy’s own privacy policy and terms. Contact us at [email protected] if you need help with an order we can see in our store dashboard.
Affiliate relationships (including HighLevel)
CourseSignal pages may contain #Ad / affiliate links. If you buy through those links, we may earn a commission.
HighLevel: CourseSignal / Urban Huntsman Ltd is an independent affiliate of HighLevel. We are not HighLevel, and we are not an employee or agent of HighLevel. Separately, Urban Huntsman Ltd operates as a HighLevel agency that builds HighLevel setups for clients. Both relationships are commercial and are disclosed on relevant pages.
Affiliate vendors and their tracking platforms (for example FirstPromoter for HighLevel) process data under their own policies once you leave coursesignal.io.
Cookies
This static site does not set first-party analytics cookies. Third parties (CDN, payment, affiliate vendors) may set cookies when you use their services. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep data
- Support emails — usually up to 24 months, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing matter.
- Purchase / accounting records — for the period required by UK tax and company law (typically up to 6 years).
- CDN logs — according to Cloudflare’s retention for the plan in use.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data with processors who help us run the business (notably Lemon Squeezy for sales, Cloudflare for hosting, and email providers for support mail). Affiliate vendors receive data only if you click through to them.
International transfers
Some processors (including US-based vendors such as Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare, and HighLevel’s tracking stack) may process data outside the UK. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers (for example standard contractual clauses).
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability where applicable. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). To exercise rights, email [email protected].
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
