Advertising & affiliate disclosure

This page explains how we label commercial content on CourseSignal. It is written for a UK audience with CAP / ASA expectations in mind: if a page is an advert or contains affiliate links, we say so clearly — upfront, in plain language.

Our commercial relationships (HighLevel)

CourseSignal is a trading name of Urban Huntsman Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company no. 16540486, registered office: 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom). We are an independent HighLevel affiliate: if you sign up to HighLevel through a link on this site, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Urban Huntsman Ltd is also a HighLevel agency that builds HighLevel setups for clients. We are not HighLevel, we are not employed by or agents of HighLevel, and we do not speak for HighLevel. Opinions on this site are our own.

Every page footer states the commercial relationship, and every HighLevel link carries a compact Ad mark beside it. Links are HighLevel’s own unmodified tracking link, marked rel="sponsored". We do not offer HighLevel coupons, discounts or extended trials. See also our privacy policy.

Principles

The footer of every page says we may earn a commission, that Urban Huntsman Ltd is an independent HighLevel affiliate and also a HighLevel agency, and that we are not HighLevel. It links here. The header also links to this page.
Each paid or affiliate link has a compact Ad mark immediately beside it (our own product uses Advert). The mark is not only in the footer.
Prefer “Ad” / “Advert” / “affiliate” over vague “partner” language alone.
Do not hide the mark in a tooltip or in the same colour as the background. Do not leave a paid button with no mark next to it.
A long advertising box at the top of an article is not required. The footer plus the mark beside the link is the disclosure.

What we do not do

Soften disclosure into “some links may support us” without saying advert/affiliate.
Put the only disclosure in the footer and leave the paid button unmarked.
Claim “unbiased” while running undisclosed affiliate CTAs.
Invent testimonials, awards, or “ASA approved” badges.
Publish commission percentages to consumers.
